The Woodcutter and the Golden Axe

A poor woodcutter accidentally drops his axe into a river. A magical spirit appears and offers him a golden axe and a silver axe, but the woodcutter honestly says they are not his. Impressed by his honesty, the spirit rewards him by giving him all three axes — the golden, the silver, and his old one.
